I am back home, jetlagged but happy. It was one of those special flights where we flew empty as ferry to Mumbai and brought people back home. . It was strange to experience this otherwise bustling city so empty. The airport was deserted and on the way to the hotel we saw empty streets. . Although we were not allowed to leave the hotel grounds (except for our crew there were only a handful of guests ) we had a lovely time. . We were thoughtful, a cat family sat purring on our laps and we talked a lot about this strange times. But we also laughed and danced late at night to the music from a mobile phone. . In the early morning hours, when I woke up again, I found the rest of my crew still in the crewlounge. A shy young colleague had been persuaded to sing for us. She had a voice like an angel and we sad there quietly, listened devoutly and had all goose bumps on our skin. . These are such moments in life, where under difficult circumstances something special and magical is created. And right now we can really appreciate it. . No matter how dark, our lights shine brightly 💜 . . . . . . . . . #lufthansacrew #mumbailockdown #dairyofaflightattendant #flightattendantlife #flightattendantslife #layoverdiaries #layoverlife https://www.instagram.com/p/CD3YaRxoWlQ/?igshid=1ahckh2dnfabo
