For Christmas I got the Luftverk 000; an Injection machine poly-carbonate yo-yo. I love how light and nimble it is on the string. It holds all the fun and bouncy organic characteristics while remaining very stable.
This color reminds me of beach glass or more precisely the colored beach glass, Camano Island, PNW upper class aesthetic. Camano In the early 90's and early 00's had remnants of 80's club lifestyle and I never fully know how to explain this era and how I loved it. I remember being at a parent's friends wedding and there where turquoise and purple neon lights on the stage and piping of the same color on the chairs. They had this colored glass on top of black table cloths and the way the lights reflected on them was really captivating to me. Even as a child I knew a night at a place like this was going to end in someones hot-tub and shit was going to get weird.
There were of course shells and boats and ropes on things. It was am interesting time. Camano Island is an interesting place and I'm sure anyone with memories of it will understand this feeling.
