i found this infographic. Nice to see this lines up with my interpretations
Ho-oh using watashi is a nice choice, gives her a feminine air. She also uses feminine language like かしら, and feminine sentence ending particles like の and わ which is very cute... わ is also used in kansai-ben which doesn't apply here and I would've preferred her actually speaking in kansai-ben but it's a cute little thing for ME they did this fOR ME!!!
Lugia with "ore" is great no notes tbh. They've always been more masculine to me though I enjoy the gender neutral route too. I particularly love the rougher way of speaking Lugia uses it's really adorable... calling Ho-oh ダチ is the cutest thing I've ever done seen.
