For the elder feline, Luhan has made sure that he found something that wouldn’t be too hard on the other, considering eyesight was not something that Jaejoong had on his side. In this light, a fond smile is etched over Luhan’s features as he rests the bag on the door handle leading to Jaejoong’s room, taking care to ensure that it would not be overlooked by the other. Inside the small bag was a small bracelet, simple in design with a sterling silver with a clasp that was easy to use. Alongside it rested a few small balls of yarn and fabric, considering the other had gone through so much trouble to hand-knit items for many of the other hybrids, including himself. The small pot of poinsettias rested idly by the door, and he could only hope that the feline’s sense of smell would aid him in finding them, rather than he find them by tripping over them.
Its not the poinsettias that Jaejoong trips over, but rather his own feet as his too-big socks (a pair that he messed up the knitting with. . .) catch under one another when he stops short thanks to a curious twitch of his nose. The smell is a sickly sweet sort of milkiness, but also an earthy scent of leaves, which told Jaejoong of the plant that was a fixture of Christmas. Exactly why the red flowers are synonymous with the Christian holiday, Jaejoong honestly couldn’t say, but he did very much enjoy the velvet texture of them, and the fact that something could be kept alive until spring returned in its bountiful glory.
Nose twitching in delight as his tail sways excitedly, Jaejoong crouches down for the flowers, only noting the bag around the outside of his room’s door handle when one of his ears brushes the bag from leaning forward. The ear flicks backwards quickly, wanting to avoid the foreign object, but it perks forwards again once Jaejoong’s got his hands on what can only be a gift bag. There is an eagerness about Jaejoong that’s quite childlike, though he wouldn’t be embarrassed with himself even if someone caught him, after all, what wasn’t to be exited about waking up to presents outside his door on Christmas morning?
“Who was my secret santa?” he wonders aloud. Taking the bag and poinsettias into his room, its alone he searches for the treasure the gift bag holds. After he’s thoroughly sniffed everything he’s received for the telling trace of scent left behind by the secret santa of course.
