So I did stand up today for the first time ever. It was the most nerve wrecking thing but I enjoyed it. It made me really happy that I could make complete strangers laugh. My grandfather taught me to joke around and made me laugh so many times, and I felt that I honored him in this year’s day of dead, ended the day with pan de los muertos to finish today’s celebration for my grandfather.

Anime I’ll be watching this season

Read below for me being a nerd

None are in particular order with the exception of the first one so here we go

1) Drifters: 

Like holy hell, have I been waiting for this manga to get an anime for so long. They’ve been hinting at one for years and now it’s finally coming out! It’s a manga made by the guy that does Hellsing and it is glorious. To simplify it, historical figures duke it out in a hyper fantasy world. You get to see characters such as Nobunaga, Joan of Arc, Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid, Gilles de Rais and much more. Plus its being produced by the same people that gave us Hellsing Ultimate so beautiful animation is to be expected.  2) Ajin season 2

A CGI anime and pretty good. Basically people that are unable to die start appearing, and the government is scared. Revolves around a teen who becomes an immortal Ajin and begins his journey to stop terrorist ajin led by on the coolest bad guys in recent media. Season 1 is on netflix and I would watch that first before you start watching season 2.

3) Kiss him not me

A Reverse Harem that I think is done really well. 4 guys and 1 girl all battle for the affection of our heroine, but, she doesn’t give af about that and only care about her favorite anime/manga. I’m really looking forward to how it turns out. Been reading the manga since forever, and hopefully the anime does not disappoint. 

4) Luger Code 1951

Werewolves are using code, its up to linguistic professor to help his allies solve it. 

5) Bloodivores

60 years ago humans contract unknown disease. They find a cure but it turns them into vampires, so they were all “fuck that let’s go to war” and win. Fast forward we come to our protag who’s half human half vampire and follow his adventures.  Its cliche af but who knows.

6) Show by Rock Season 2

Literally, get drunk, get high, do something to dumb your senses down, and just watch. Super colorful, shiny, all that jazz.

Bought an electric violin. This is the 5th string instrument I’m picking up. I’m pretty excited for it cause I’ve been wanting to pick it up since high school. The only thing I feel bad for is my grandma who will probably have to hear ugly ass sounds for a good chunk before I get the hang of it.

Season 1 of Overwatch competitive play is over, ended the season at rank 66. I’m alright with this, I get a free golden gun. GG everyone.

I got an interview at a museum in Dallas!!!! It’s my top choice to work for and I’m super excited at the opportunity!
