If you look at the crowds outside his hearings, they shrink every single hearing. It’s because if you move in certain circles, you hear things. Most likely word has spread that it is impossible to get in because of the camping that Abril started.

when you look at their tweets and social media posts after these hearings, it’s like they’ve been in the presence of a God. Clubcillian said just being near him “changed” her. He’s a man, he’s a human being with flaws like the rest of us. If I was a judge and I witnessed the behavior that these women supposedly demonstrate, I would be incredibly pissed off.
some of us want to see him get a fair trial. I want him to turn around and see his friends and family (which hasn’t happened yet…sadly.) I want him to see people whose lives have been affected by the system he committed a desperate act to change. He may very well spend the rest of his life in jail and he needs to make peace with that. Seeing people that he helped might help him find comfort. Seeing women objectifying him at every hearing must be so dehumanizing. It must also be humiliating as a young man to know that these young women only come because of how you look. He’s a proud guy, to stand in front of these women sizing you up in handcuffs and shackles and a prison uniform must be awkward for him. Please spare me the “he wants sexy supporters to be present and for everything to be sexy and fun.”
