The level of comedy in Miraculous is really confusing for me.

It feels like whenever the writers make a joke it lands 50% of the time and sucks the other 50%.

But everything else that happens ends up unintentionally being the funniest thing I’ve ever seen.

That scene at the end of season 3 where Luka finally figured out Marinette’s ‘song’ and he played it and it was the theme song of the show made me laugh harder than pretty much all of the jokes that were made on purpose.

I feel like this show has a lot of untapped comedic potential that could be fully utilized if they just leaned in to the insanity of it all instead of over-dramatizing the teenage romance that’s already become canon like 17 times now.

ok um am i alone in how the 5th season feels like the end? like i know there are still a lot of loose ties but luka and marinette both are together and seem closer and happy and kagami and adrien are being all close and cute together. like i just dont know how i feel about the season finale. also with how they made it seem like they were implying a poly relationship with kagami, adrien and marinette which honestly i was all for but like i dont know what to root for??? everything? this show literally seems to want us to want everyone together i swear!
