it depends if they're "ignorant people." Because people who disrespect other people and promote a racist/sexist society are people that I consider stupid, and I absolutely think I'm smarter than them. Not superior, but more enlightened
You missed the entire point of that post. I’m talking about people who think that their intelligence automatically makes them better than those around them, not someone who thinks they’re smarter than an ignorant person.
