So is that who you were sleeping with last night? What? I called back last night to thank you for the help with Amarant when some guy picked up. Imagine my surprise. No, it wasn't him. No, so… who was it? Just someone. Oh, that's right, my life's an open book, but Laurel… It's Anthony, Anthony the FBI guy.

unfortunately i do believe luke was ella’s closest friend and i do not think ella was luke’s
i have many favorite actors, but something awoke inside of me when i saw danny pino as nick amaro in svu.
i don't know what the fuck happened, but i have never been this feral over an actor in my LIFE! i jokingly say about some actors that i need them in ways that feel illegal, but i am entirely serious in regards to this man.
i need him in ways that are illegal, taboo, uncouth, etc. he has essentially rewired my brain and has become my roman empire. he has me in a chokehold that i don't want to escape from. i actually fucking swoon and turn into a high school girl with a crush the second i see this man.
danny pino has turned my world on its axis and i don't want him to apologize. i would like to thank him for being the only man ever. other men exist? nah, just danny pino.
no thoughts, only danny pino.
"What was the most surprising thing that you discovered while researching the book?"
"That basically every Arctic expedition ended in disaster. I’d always assumed that the disasters were they exceptions, when actually they were the rule."
Luke Healy discusses his graphic novel, How To Survive in the North, with The Beat. Part recounting of disastrous real-life polar expeditions, part chronicle of a modern academic's career-shaking scandal, it's about the people we trust, and the wisdom (or not) of following them into disaster. He also raises the deeply flawed concept of "the Friendly Arctic", which posited that an inexperienced traveller could survive just fine up there...
Happy 49th Birthday Danny Pino! 🎉🎉🎉💕
