Luke Matheny of New York University won the Narrative Gold Medal in the 37th Annual Student Academy Awards for "God of Love." 

Luke and "God of Love" went on to win the Academy Award for Best Short Film, where Luke gave one of the sweetest and most genuine Oscar speeches in Oscar-speech-giving history.
