After being a former captain in the military and working a corporate job, Pell has now decided to follow his true passion of playing music. He says, "When I was working those corporate jobs, I wasn't being honest with myself. I had to make the move. I'm the driver in my own journey, and I have to stay true to myself. And I hope the authenticity comes across in my music, as well."

His first self-titled EP has over two million views on Spotify. Pell's music is described as a mixture between Garth Brooks and Eric Church, who he also gives credit to as his musical inspirations.
“The things you’ll discover, the things you’ll try, the experiences you will have. Once you discover life outside your comfort zone, outside of that 📦 box, you will never go back in there and you will wonder what took you so long to jump out in the first place. The sights, 🌆 the colours, the people, the new friendships and connections.” - Steven Aitchison 📸: @looksfamiliar

He described seeing Eric Church perform, "he came out with his sunglasses on and his ball cap pulled down and he just sang. There was so much energy in the room that the hair stood up on the back of my neck. The way he bridged country and rock, it was just an inspiration."
