Luke's never been too big on Valentine's Day, but it does seem like a cruel twist of fate that Nesrin will be back on the 15th instead. He already has flowers and a card sat on his dining table, taunting him, illuminated by the muted television he isn't watching. He would be getting an extremely early night, to make tomorrow come faster, if he could put his mind to rest at all. It's felt like forever since they last saw each other, and with everything the distance has put them through, he's more restless than ever to have her back within reach. A quick glance at his watch tells him he still has a lifetime to wait. Rubbing at his eyes, he almost misses the knock at his door.
