I agree on Andy not necessarily being that versatile but I think he brought a personality and sense of humor that had not previously been there before. That being said I’ve always felt there was a surprising amount of variety in the digital shorts.

oh, i completely agree, the digital shorts honestly covered an astonishing range, and more often than not were totally brilliant. i think he definitely shined in that format, more so than as a regular cast member. but in general his sensibility was totally unique and channelled a new perspective that did a lot to propel the show forward and keep it relevant.
