Lukey’s VR Stream
An (Incomplete) Timeline
Some timestamps for future reference. Mainly when he’s with who, not much more detailed than that. I might miss stuff or take some time, I can’t just watch stream 24/7…
Day 1

The small lore arc that went on the entire week with the lost explorer is so underrated to me because wdym !Lukey (in my mind he was a mix of Lucas and !Lukey that entire week but was mainly !Lukey with the explorer) meets him immediately takes a liking to him and is protective over him and gives him a gift in a compass that leads to "home" which is his own home so the explorer can always find his way home again, and the book the explorer gives to him at the end? Cinema
There's definitely a bunch of smaller bits I didnt mention which is because I don't remember much but god it was all so good
To be honest I feel like we got robbed of quite a bit of lost explorer lore when Lukey switched his format from subathon style to 12 hours a day. Which is fair cause health first, but it felt like the Explorer often got pushed in the background a bit in favour of the (talking) guests. *sigh* what could have been…
That said, what we got to see was absolute peak. I think what made it so interesting to me was the role reversal. Lukey is usually surrounded by such better players, just look at his dynamic with Pangi or Infume for example. But with the explorer he was the competent one, the teacher, the protector (if not a very good one).
And then there was the story line the Explorer himself went through. Getting betrayed and learning to trust again? Peak angst and hurt/comfort potential!
I think my favourite moment was their first adventure together, it just showcased their dynamic so beautifully in ways we didn’t get to see later on.
