Who or What inspires you the most in life? Michael Nesmith of the Monkees, is there nothing he can’t do?!

Oh my, I've been tagged twice (thanks lukeykinzferdinfan too!) so I'll try to do this as well as I can. Because I want to remain anonymous and I'd rather this blog be about Franz and not myself, it probably won't be very interesting, sorry!

I live in London in the United Kingdom.

I first saw Franz Ferdinand live in 2004.

I've seen them live a total of 8 times so far.

... In four different countries!

I own two Franz t-shirts and a snap bracelet, but I almost never wear them. Relics of a bygone age... (and I'm too old to get away with it)

I'm friends with jeremyfraser and she's sort of why I decided to do this blog.

I've met the band several times and they're all really nice guys. 

I don't have a favourite member.

I was part of the infamous slacken_ties era... but I never had an interest in the slash fiction side of it, just the insane sense of humour. I'm glad those days are gone but they're still funny to reminisce about.

Uh... what else... I own the deleted CD versions of Michael with the extra tracks. There, that'll do. :P

LOL, sorry! It was based on some guy Nick knew back in Munich.

I get a lot of my info from just cross-referencing sources/books I've accumulated over time. My memory isn't the best! But hey, any excuse to watch the DVD, right? :p

Yes definitely! I think it was my first live dvd as well, just amazing :D I remember them playing Van Tango on the dvd too, can't exactly remember what concert it was though, but I guess you can count that as another favourite B-side xD love that one live!

LOL, every time I hear Van Tango, I just think of a seedy old man! xD

I think it was on the live DVD in two versions. The one at Brixton (Disc Two) and then the other at The Grand Ballroom, Regency Centre in San Francisco (Disc One). At least that's what memory/sources are telling me!

aah yes the opening riff at Brixton is amazing xD i actually heard that version first from off of the dvd, lyrics are slightly different to, love it :D

Same here! That was one of the first live concert DVD's I'd ever bought, and I just thought that song was so wonderful. Due largely in part to the band's stage presence/musicianship too, I think. :)
