August 6th - Post
Hey Guys! Today, I literally had the best day ever. My dad, brother and I went to my great uncle's farm. He put my dad and I on a special off-road four wheeler, and we traveled up, way farther into the mountains than I may have ever been. We met a new cousin today named Morgan, and she owns a baby calf. It suddenly began making the weirdest noises, and ran for her. It was literally the cutest thing ever. We then went up even higher to see a huge plain. My great uncle tried to get me to ride a cow. A cow. I didn't necessarily get why and that seemed torturous to the poor animal. Of course, I am always so hyper and excited to do things like go out and see friends and everything, but I was so bored! I sat on the four wheeler and the cow came right up to me, and started licking my leg. I honestly need to move to Nicholas County when I'm old enough. The funniest part was when my dad went up the hill, and a huge herd of cows came barreling down. They surrounded me, and I was not used to that much attention. We then came back to our grandparent's house, and watched an hours worth of fireworks. The fireworks were basically a way of saying, "Nicholas County is back in the game!" The second I upload this post, I'm going to bed. I'm heading back home tomorrow and I have to be awake for the entire ride. That's normally possible, but I am going to Webster County to see one more set of grandparents, then I'm heading back to my hometown in West Virginia. Thank you for checking in with Archer Poptart!!
