She had fallen pretty far down. She was so excited to get back into town she hadn’t been paying attention to the ground itself.
“I’m such an idiot.” she complained to herself, staring up the face of the now-crumbled stone and dirt wall. It had been raining pretty hard, so the ground had been softer than normal. Rika’s bag was laying gently up where she had fallen from, some of it’s contents had spilled out. As she went to stand up, a sudden powerful surge of pain rushed through her foot, causing her to fall back down. “I really am an idiot...” she yelled at herself again, putting a hand to her ankle.
