Does Lume have any kids? What's her day to day life like? Shes she have friends? How does she treat the servants/what do they think of her?
Lume has no children, more so because her partners keep mysteriously dying in the most unnatural ways, i.e pushed off a bridge for speaking to another woman. She considers her servants children as her own, and has killed parents in the past in order to gain more of their trust and make them easier to manipulate.
Lume lives in a quiet sanctuary with her many servants, in a place that shifts between the human realm and the Underrealm frequently. (Mostly to attract more humans, but staying on the move is best to avoid any unwanted company.)
It's a nice area, surrounded by plants with bioluminescent leaves, treetops, and few animals. They sustain the way of life, and no one has a reason to leave. The weak, or those who disobey, will perish and become Lume's next meal behind a discreet curtain.
The only "friends" she has are those who give her momentary gain. For example, the sanctuary's elder, who maintains the peace and is the reason why most servants still have their head on their body. Another example would be the Caregiver, another elder who likes to look after the children, a person who also keeps her from biting off heads. (Quite literally).
Lume has to put on a kind, understanding, and harmless leader facade. Anything else, and some servants may act unwisely. They all believe her to be very kind in taking them in, and protecting them from the harsh human realm.
They see her nothing short of a Queen, or even times, a Goddess. They worship the ground she walks on, and follows blindly to whatever she says.
Most of her days are roaming the sanctuary, checking on the grounds, making sure no one has died, grab a quick misbehaving human head as a snack, and then have an afternoon nap. All of her killings must be discreet, for containing order. Goodness if there was an uprising, that would be an unfortunate waste of multiple servant generations. Not to mention the stomach ache she'll get from overeating.
The only reason she doesn't have proxies is that it's too much effort, and they cause too much damage in the long-run. She's rather just have a mindless cult at her will, instead of personal errand-runners. Besides, if she did have proxies, she'd be much easier to track.
And goodness, she can not have her sister (or any other troublemakers) finding out where she resides.
