What you should know about the newest lumia windows phone?

If you’re into mobile phones and you really love Nokia, then you must be aware of the fact that soon their new lumia windows phone will be released (the Verizon version) and yes, that is the Nokia Lumia 920. This lumia windows  phone has already been released for other carriers, but it seems there are many people who are barely waiting for Verizon to make the move.

Even though the most predominant mobile operating systems today are Windows and iOS, there is also a place for Windows based phones and given the fact that they’ve been received so well, the same might also be said about the soon to be released Lumia 920.

Even though lumia windows phones don’t really offer the level of customization that other mobile operating systems do, they are still providing a competitive edge over others with the most innovative features that have been introduced with the release of Windows Phone 8. Features like low light photography and especially Wireless charging make the new Nokia phone to be one of the best and most interesting phones from many points of view, on the market today. With that being said, let’s take a better look at some of the features the new handset has and understand more about this amazing smartphone.

Advanced Chipset

The Lumia 920 runs on a dual core Krait CPU and features the Snapdragon S4 chipset and the Adreno 225 GPU. It comes with a 1.5 GHZ CPU which paired with the 1 GB of RAM, allows users to really have a smooth experience while using their phone to watch videos, surf the internet and so forth. Even though at the user interface level the bump in performance is barely noticeable, the high end hardware really shows what it’s capable of at application level.

Best camera quality

Compared with any other smartphone on the market the 920 has hands down the best camera out there. The reason? Well, not only do the Carl Zeiss lenses have a lot to do with it, but it’s also the high aperture of f/20. The aperture refers to the amount of light beams that will hit the camera’s sensor which will in the end allow for taking a great quality photograph, even if it’s taken in an environment where there is little light.

Dual band Wi-Fi

In its new phone, Nokia has included a dual band Wi-Fi support and this means that users will be able to connect to a faster 5 GHz router channel or band, if configured, in order to speed up internet streaming and file sharing.

PureMotion HD+

This is a feature you will mostly love in the winter time or whenever you have gloves on. So even if you don’t wear capacitive materials, you’ll still be able to use your phone. The pixel transition speed of the new 920 is also two and a half times faster compared to those of regular phone, allowing for a really smooth viewing experience. Wireless Charging

This is something which has been talked about a lot, but it’s Nokia that made the first move with it and they’re going to get a lot of credit for this. To charge the phone, you just have to place it on the charging deck, which means less hassle with cables and the likes.
