Meet Secret Meline! She was an accidental OC to be honest, I kinda just kept using the same name for every Pokemon game I've ever played so I figured she deserved to be fully fleshed out ^v^
She's a trans woman because I always used the girl sprite and I wanted her to be trans but I don't like how the guy sprites look so.... Trans! Plus, it makes the comment your rival makes more of a compliment than sexist ("I thought the gym leaders kid would be a boy...."). She's also 19 because I wanted her to still be young, but she's also not ageless like Ash Ketchum. She would've started her journey at the age of 11 and she's been to many regions and explored the Pokeworld to learn how to best bond with Pokemon. I imagine later she'd probably open a business to teach others how to bond with their own Pokemon more effectively.
She's essentially how I am as a trainer in the fact that she doesn't care about building a super strong and overpowered team. Her strength is entirely built on the friendship and trust she has with her party, and all of them love her unconditionally, leading them to trust her even when hit by effects that would leave them at a disadvantage. She's also one of my more athletic OC's, since she has to be given that she's a trainer ^v^
She also has a bag and the string on the side of her skirt is meant to hold her PokeBalls but given that she wouldn't have any Pokemon at the point of this drawing, they're not added to her just yet. Either way, I adore her as a character because I know she loves her Pokemon because I love my Pokemon UvU
