I love all that this picture represents. The rope is so much more than simply a piece of material. It represents a bond between two brothers not bound by blood but by a common love of Jesus and the mountains. In the background is Longs Peak which is the goal of our climbing summer. It has been in the back of my mind for months and at the forefront throughout all of my training. This weekend I had tons of amazing breweries support me as an artist in a very direct way. I was playing music, and so they gave me beer. Great people like @10barrelbrewing @upslope and @fatebrewingcompany. Thanks a million to these guys, but the one moment that really stands out for me was when I asked @lumpyridgebrewing for an IPA and was told it didn't tap until 4:20pm. Well, I was playing then, so I asked @theartofwade (Lumpy Ridge rep) to bring me one, and he did! I got a beer delivered custom to my DJ 'booth'. So you know I had to support them back when I saw @hazelsbeverageworld had bombers of it fresh off the truck! So much fun at @frozendeadguydays this weekend.
