hey, katy! a question for you: what do you think happens to uranus, neptune, and saturn during the 30th century?

we know that the inner guardians are protecting neo-queen serenity and king endymion while pluto watches over the space-time door

i think it's general fanon that saturn will assist chibi moon and the asteroid guardians, but uranus and neptune seem to be shrouded in mystery, and it's something i've been curious about for a long time

Honestly, I think that Neptune and Uranus will still uphold their duties as protectors of the outer solar system, but I highly doubt Usagi will follow in Queen Serenity's footsteps by having them stationed so far away all the time. I imagine them as honorary aunts to Chibiusa and backup protectors of Crystal Tokyo while still occasionally visiting the outer solar system and running maintenance checks.

But maybe instead of guardians of the royal family and Crystal Tokyo proper like the Inners are, they act as peacekeepers and guardians for the rest of Earth? Haruka and Michiru like doing their own thing and being independent. I can definitely see them traveling around instead of staying in one place.

Energy Reading for Luna

I open my eyes and they are immediately transfixed on the moon in the sky, a silver crescent shimmering like a sliver of ice. I watch in fascination as it slowly begins to drip, dropping celestial tears to the earth. I watch for a moment before realizing that a puddle has formed. It’s not like water - more like mercury in consistence. It begins to shift and move, stretching and widening. It carefully begins to expand upwards, forming into a human shape. Silky hair made of the night, dark eyes that shimmer with wisdom, a smile so sweet it seemed crafted by angels. A woman has coalesced before me. 

She is dressed in a gossamer dress that looked it had come straight out of a fairy tale. Off the shoulders with sleeves sliding down to her wrists, flowing down to the ground into a glimmering train. It glowed subtly, as if had been weaved by threads bathed in starlight. She looks back at me with a calm gaze, a hint of mischief in her eyes. She holds her hand out to me, silently beckoning me closer. I walk over and take it without hesitation, trust washing over me. As soon as I’ve done so, a pair of crow wings appears from her back. They are a stunning mix of black and violet, catching the light of the moon in a way that made them appear iridescent. They beat strongly a view times before she launches up into the air. 

A gasp escapes me, prompting a laugh from her. “Don’t be afraid. You’re safe.” she says, voice soft and gentle. “Just watch.” After a few moments, she points downwards, prompting my eyes to follow. Another sharp inhale comes from me. Below, I see a city of crystal, absolutely resplendent in every shade imaginable. There are others like her, flying about on wings that range from angel to butterfly. Peace washes over me as I look at the open and bright town. Laughter sounds from below, mixing with the sound of people trading wares, shouting hellos, and children running through the streets. I recognize this as her sanctuary, a place where traquilty reigns. She flies a little longer, taking us over a forest before we reach an ocean. I sense what’s to happen a second before she speaks. “Don’t be afraid.” She repeats, then releases my hand. I don’t scream, knowing that I’ll be gone before I land. I look up at her in my descent. The moon glows brightly behind her, casting her in shadow. Even still, I catch another glimpse of her smile and a wave before I close my eyes and everything fades to black.

Hey Goop! Do you think you'll be linking the pre-orders for the new Kill la Kill game? You've been really awesome with keeping us updated with additions to the game, and I'm looking at getting the limited / special edition and want to make sure I order from a reliable source :)

I definitely try to keep this blog as up to date on Kill la Kill the Game: IF news as I can, though I’ve fallen behind as of late due to vacation, illness, and breaking my new computer. But I’m going to try to get caught up over the next few days!

So: pre-orders for the regular edition of the North American release of the game are now available on Amazon! You can pre-order the PlayStation 4 version here and the Nintendo Switch version here. Arc System Works also Tweeted these links to verify that they are indeed legitimate.

Pre-orders aren’t yet available for the NA Limited Edition, but it was stated at last week’s ArcLive that there will be news on the topic soon. For European fans, there’s a similar story; pre-orders are available on Amazon for the regular edition (here for the PS4 version and here for the Switch version for those in the UK), but there’s no word yet on pre-orders for the Limited Edition. PQube Tweeted a couple of weeks ago that they “will announce [their] retail partners at a later date.”

However, you can pre-order the Japanese Limited Edition! Both the PS4 and Nintendo Switch don’t region-lock games, so the Japanese version of Kill la Kill the Game: IF would be playable on a non-Japanese game console. For those out of Japan, a proxy service like From Japan can help secure you a copy. Just searching up キルラキル ザ・ゲーム -異布- on the site offers a few Limited Edition options (such as this Rakuten listing with the adorable WonderGOO pre-order bonus of a Kengo Saito tapestry featuring Ryuko, Senketsu, and Mako), but you can also submit a URL of a particular listing you’re interested in to the site, and they can try to help you get it.

(And given that I’ve reached the “Samurai” rank for spending over 40,000 yen there within the past year, I can attest that From Japan is a good service, and I’ve had no problems with them.)

Anyway, that’s what I know and understand now! I’ll for sure make a post about English-language Limited Edition pre-orders when they happen!

disney shufflemancy? count me in!!! this question can be ignored if it makes you uncomfortable, but lately, my dreams have been flooded with oddly dark imagery. i guess what i'm trying to ask is, what does my subconscious want me to know and understand from these dreams?

There is something in your life/self that you are ignoring. You are confining yourself in someway. This dark imagery is trying to tell you something about yourself. You are more than just the light and until you face what this is head on you are always going to feel trapped. Letting into our “darkness” helps us grow and understand ourselves. It pushes us forward in our journey. Rapunzel could only move forward when she rebelled against her mother. What is something important to you that is holding you back. What is it that you need to rebel against?
