It was a happy reunion with his two friends, Xion and Roxas, but honestly there was something missing but with the impending doom of the entire universe at hand one had to push person feelings and thoughts to the back corners of their mind.

They had a two bit mega mind type villain to defeat before anyone could really get down to the touchy feels friendship part of their adventure.

Once of course that was all said and done, and someone had to remind Lea that he cannot in fact use the portals to traverse the corridors of darkness. Honestly bless Xion for reminding him to not be an idiot in his haste when Kairi wasn't around to do it for him, nor the one he was wanting to see the most...

Isa...

He knew it wasn't really logical but he wanted to be there when the other awoke.

Seems he'd have to settle on the Gummy Ship approach, curled up in the back with Roxas and Xion coming down from the high emotional territory of victor and crashing into sleep from exhaustion and the fact that he was still bruised and beaten up from his fight with Saix and then having his row with Xemnas only to be turned into a living version of shooting fish in a barrel.  

But the moment they touched down in Radiant Garden he's the first to stumble out of the ship almost eating sidewalk as he stumbled toward the castle. Roxas and Xion offering their help to the redhead and honestly he's grateful but they had been apart far too long. Isa his first and dearest friend. And there was so much he should apologize for.

He wastes no time in heading for the lab where he had woken up re-completed the first time. He is sure that if there is  a place the other would be... its there.

   Vanitas didn’t have any experience with night terrors, with the exception of experiencing his own. Off the top of his head, Vanitas couldn’t remember how Ventus or the others had dealt with him during one of those nights. This was especially true since he was in a panic, attempting to wake up the screaming Isa, at least until the emotions became overwhelming for Vanitas. He jumped back when Isa’s rage filled orbs stared him down. 

  “I-I-Isa...?” His voice is left trembling as he’s backing away from the rage filled man. The raven stares into the other’s eyes, searching for any hints of the normal blue haired man. Vanitas won’t summon his Keyblades, maybe, Isa will calm down if he doesn’t draw his weapons. His heart was racing in his chest in fear as he gazed up at Isa, but he tries to calm his fear, taking deep breathes. 

  “Bi-Big brother...?”

Xeha gently shook Isa's shoulder. It was clear the boy was having yet another nightmare. One day he would be able to sleep peacefully. Hopefully. "Isa, honey, it's okay. You're safe." She and Zack always made sure that they were safe. Nothing was going to hurt them on her watch.

     All the history of mistakes and manipulation, giving false hope and weaving lies into intricate webs only he himself could untangle, it’s not a SHOCK to hear the words said to him. Perhaps, it would be INSULTING if the words didn’t have truth behind them.     The work, before his creation, was Xehanort’s doing. Yet, the original Organization, the false promises to lead those he saw as lesser to him towards his own personal gain, that was HIS doing. Empty of regrets, void of any regard for others.

      Xemnas lingers in silence, amber eyes focused. Then, the words come out slowly, an attempt to keep his emotionless tone despite the pulsing from his HEART, “It was a worthy price to be paid to continue the fallacy of our non-existence–one I had disregarded as NECESSARY.” To admit to a mistake, to say he was regretting those decisions outright? It would have to be pried out of his dying breaths.       “Lives were EXPENDABLE, believing others could be found. Perhaps, there was more beneath the surface than what was anticipated.” A cryptic fashion of stating what could easily be remorse or a retelling of his thoughts then.
