Welp. The news of what Trump has already shut down is setting off an anxiety attack, my palms are sweaty and shaky and I think I need to flee tumblr for now, I’ll rework my xkit blacklist a little later...

Health insurance stress-ramble:

I also checked up on my insurance status and it’s not good news. The problem with using paystubs from the end of the year is the weekly numbers look high but that’s only because of extra hours given because. it’s. the. holidays. The rest of the year is not that generous (this week alone I was scheduled the state-mandated minimum hours) and the monthly premiums they offered will be around half my monthly pay. Did they pay attention at all to my annual total? What happened to my tax credit? I’m going to reapply at the end of this month and be like “Hey, hi, yeah, this is what my usual paycheck looks like, can you not expect me to pay almost half a month’s income for this insurance I will rarely use?” By the time I finished paying for the deductible the year will be done and I’ll have to start all over again with a new deductible, with no benefit to having the insurance, just money lost.

And, quite frankly, at this point I’m giving up on the surgery for now. =/ I’m not in a mental place where I can handle going through all those subconscious panic attacks again so soon.

My coworkers definitely heard I’d be back today because they didn’t bother to pack out yesterday’s delivery. =| Every time. This wasn’t supposed to be a regular vacation but I’m still not surprised. lol teamwork. >=|

My sister texted me expecting me to take time off next month to work on renovation stuff. Like LOL that is not how my job works. After this vacation I won't be taking any time off again until the surgery/insurance debacle is worked out, which will probably be a few months from now because of having to set everything up all over again. Ah well, no procrastinating today. I had plans to write all day but better to get to those boxes so I can chill tomorrow and brace myself for Entitled Bossypants Bitch on Sat.
