There's a supermoon eclipse coming up on the 27th! Any special ideas?
Hey anon! I know that this is a last minute response, but hopefully it’s still early enough to help ^_^ Here’s a post that will let you know if and when the eclipse will be visible in your area.
I think that this will be my first time personally working any real eclipse magick, so I can’t share ideas from experience - but I have a few ideas ^_^
While there’s obviously full moon magick, the period of the eclipse will (from my understanding) enable you to cast any series of lunar-related spells, so you can technically cast magick that is good for waxing, waning, and new moon magick as well, going by the shadow on the moon. So, if you abide by the phrases of the moon - tonight can be used as a powerful wildcard, if you get your timing right!
The supermoon will be excellent for any energy work (especially charging or cleansing spells), as well as any water spells. The eclipse should provide a good boost to divination, shadow work, and spirit work.

As for myself, I know that aside from a possible scrying attempt, I’ll be charging or recharging a lot of items; it’s raining now, so what I can put outside might be limited. I don’t particularly care if it’s raining though, because Lunar Eclipse Lightning Charging still works for me and there’s plenty I can put outside in the rain. I also have a couple of spells in mind for if I feel good for it, but I’ll post about those if they happen.
