totw: Junko is one of my favorite antagonists. She is a nasty piece of work alright, but her ideals and views of the world is perfectly suited for her as the mastermind. Her character is very hard to understand and that's what makes her complex. Despair is suppose to make you suffer, but she enjoys this suffering. I don't get how that works. Her mindset is completely up for interpretation. I'm fascinated by her relationship with Mukuro. The question that always remains: does she really love her?

I don't think so. I think Junko was just using her to further her despair. Which is sad; I feel really bad for her sister.

I'm inclined to agree. I feel like Junko may have loved her sister at some point, but when it came to the school of mutual killing, she didn't have compassion for anyone regardless of relation.
