"You've got eyes on them? Good. Keep them in your sights. We're about ready here as well. As soon as I finish the briefing, we'll move in."
Clicking the little red button on his phone, he stashed it safely away in his pocket once he was done with his phone call, swiveling to face his small platoon of men properly. Among them was the weretiger brat, his first actual job with the Port Mafia that didn't entail desk-work and filing papers.
Really, this briefing was more for his benefit than anyone else's. All of his regular men underneath him could practically run a job like this in their sleep with their hands tied behind their backs. He trusted all of them to do good work with or without his leadership at this point, but Atsushi was the wild card in all this, and it would definitely test his limits.
"Alright, weretiger, listen closely. This is an important job for the mafia so I expect good results from it." No pressure. Really. "There's a small cargo boat parked out just off the coast. Seems legit on the surface, but its a smuggling vessel. We've got intel that one of our enemies is stockpiling illegal weaponry in preparation for a gang war. Pretty standard stuff for us, but suffice to say, we can't let it go unchallenged, so we're going to head out there and filch it from them, right in front of their faces."
It was a simple enough operation, but his Gravity and water didn't exactly work so well together. While he'd definitely figured out some effective ways to get things done despite the limitation, he still hated these jobs with a burning passion. The ground and sky were both his playgrounds he could manipulate with ease, but the sea was another matter and ever determined to spit in his face.
"Now normally, something like this would be called in and handled by the Coast Guard, but if we manage to get a hold of those weapons first, it'll cut some of our costs on our own weapons imports while also preventing a blood bath in the streets. You following so far?"
