It might look like a child's room. It's... strange how neglected everything looks, a cheap bed, but everything is so cluttered and decorated. Stuffed animals... stickers... posters... Really, do you think being an alien would give you the right to property? It's a filthy base. But for him... it's something he never had.
A comfortable bed that won't burn his back, everything... That stuff that looks like filler, whims... It is filler, yes, from something he never experienced. The biological research of his planet was lost; all he has left is to be fascinated by it. Adán never knew anything like music; his only escape was the sound of lava flowing in underground tunnels. And Mark simply... loves the idea of being able to introduce him to everything Adán likes. He can leave him his toys from when he was a child and talk about them; William won't be there to tell him that's for children. Because Adán doesn't see it that way. What stuffed animal will he have in a war? In the Stone Age? Where you have to sell flowers from childhood to survive after your training ends?
