“Fuck!”
The Alpha growled as she pushed pass the sudden swarm of press and paparazzi. They were all human, and all of them surrounded the she wolf as she exited the LSA building, swarming her questions and accusations about the missing people as well as what to expect from the Lunar Phase. Normally she would have loved to sit and orchestrate the media but the moon was full despite the rolling clouds in the night sky and even with Tamryn’s age and level of control the moon was already two nights strong and the she wolf was growing less detached from her true nature. With a certain level of focus Tamryn tried to navigate the crowd which only slowed her process and left her exposed to the moon once the clouds broke.
It hit her skin like being under direct sunlight and it instantly caused her hues to glow. The tall red head growled dangerously and gripped her forearm, digging her claws in deep and keeping them there to prevent herself from shifting and ruining her outfit as well as potentially injuring someone. She felt the pull as the wolf within began to feel the need to take over, at this point the questions shifted from the missing people to what if she would be a risk to anyone there. The Alpha didn’t have her guard detail, it was too much of a risk to have them all out on the Lunar Phase.
The more she seemed to lose the battle of restraint the more the humans seemed compelled like moths to the flame. They closed in on her almost as if to tempt the beast within intentionally. The sound of their hearts racing in nerves or underlying fear drowned out her conscious thoughts, hazing them with the primitive drives of the animal within. She dropped to her knees and gripped the ground with her claws out now. She was no longer growling but snarling now, The moon caused her porcelain skin to almost glow as she vibrated with the urge to shift. The only thing keeping her from it was her still searching for some sort of outlet through the gathering crowd. Though it was clear by how wolf her eyes looked compared to human that she was losing the battle and and starting to red line from within.
