Gift for my great friend Frost-Ifrit! <3 I enjoy joking around with our characters, and I had this cute idea of chibi versions of Moon Moon and Frost playing with plushie toys of our friends. And, would you look at that; Frost is hogging the Tawny and Dae plushies. Not very nice. I'm sure she's said please too and still he's being a dweeb. Jerk lol

During the Hunting Events of Fall 2016 in the group and tribes, Sequoia did something she didn't realize was a horrific act until it was far too late. She killed a mother. A mother Kommo-o to be exact. Ashamed of her actions, during her recovery process in late fall/early specks of winter, she fell into a deep depression, crossed with if she was a worthy enough Huntress if she went as far as to blindly kill a mother 'mon as she did in the games. I gather Slithering and Jeff, as well as her family, comforted her and told her she didn't know, and sometimes even the most careful people make mistakes.

Even her.

In the end, she managed to find herself again and decided to stay as a Huntress, albeit a much wiser and understanding one than she was before. It's a heavy scar that she hates, but she had hoped the Kommo-o's kits were old enough to fend for themselves and they were okay.

That wasn't the case.

Weeks after the events, Sequoia encountered a shocking discovery. A tiny runt Jangmo-o was wandering around amongst the territories of Terra, seen several times but failed to be captured by any scouts. Intrigued and worried, Seqouia set out to find the baby dragon. IN the end, she saved the Jangmo-o from a predator Pokemon, and took her in as her own.

What Sequoia quickly realized about herself was that she had a very deep, deep sensation of motherly instincts wash over her upon sheltering the Jangmo-o baby, who was also taking quite the liking towards her. Instincts that, upon telling her father, were confirmed something shocking;

Her late mother had the same kind of instincts before she died.

Not wanting to see the Jangmo-o perish, Sequoia went to the leader and deputy of the tribe, requesting permission of taming and caring for the Jangmo-o as her imprinted mother. They allowed it, and Sequoia was deemed the little one's owner.

As well as her new mother.

This picture is of how much Sequoia was sorry for killing without knowing the Jangmo-o's blood mother. But, in return, she is honored and deeply grateful that she is given the chance to care and become her new Mama. Zyanya the Jangmo-o loves when Sequoia cradles her to her chest and lets her fall asleep to the sound of her thrumming heart.

Truly, a touching scene between the two of them.

This was a gift to my awesome guy friend, Gafagear, who loves my lil Meganium character in a group that we are in. I gave him this as a gift in February, even though I posted it after Valentine’s Day. It was meant to be a gift on the holiday, but I got caught up in other stuff. He REALLY loves it a lot and I’m glad that it made him smile!

After all, a cutie like this lil chub is precious when she smiles like that >w<

An Apology and Heads Up to my Active Followers

I’m writing this down as an apology that I’ve been dead from posting things on Tumblr and haven’t been all that consistent in keeping up with my art.

I took March entirely off from drawing for groups and it was a lovely break. But tomorrow is April 1st, aka April Fools Day. So it’s not only the day I’m gonna start posting art again, but I have to endure a day at work and pray that no pranksters come in (we had two people last year and it wasn’t exactly a fun time).

Upon tomorrow morning, however, you guys will be getting a flow of what art I haven’t posted yet on here. I hope you’ll like and reblog them because I worked hard on all of them ^^ 

I’m also writing this because I’m informing you how my art flow will be going from now on. I finally caved in and, after discussing with some friends, and looking through various accounts on it, I have gotten myself a Twitter. So, with me being on 4 sites, I will list off my links by how frequent they will be posted on.

#1 Twitter Account > This is where people who follow me will see art before I post it to dA or the other accounts. It’s where WIPS will be posted too. I see a flow on it for artists and some of my friends are on it so this is why I am grinding my teeth and getting one lol (note: I am not a fan of Twitter)

#2 DeviantArt Account > This is gonna be second on the list. Mainly cause any and all art that’s group art on da gets posted on here before it can reach Tumblr. 

#3 Tumblr Account > I’m gonna attempt to wake up this account again and get it moving again uvu I also have my on hiatus account with Ciniminimon, which is MoonlitTribalTales (under heavy construction).

#4 FurAffinity Account > I am trying to be consistent on this site. I have great friends on it, but I always get swamped in other stuff and tend to forget to post on here until a little while later. But I will try to keep at it on the decent website.

I shall be making another announcement tomorrow after I get off work, but for now this is your input from Luna herself ^^

Final January event picture collab between myself and Aloulore for Pocket-Island! I did the initial idea, sketch, line, and base colors, while Aloulore finished it with detailed colors, shading, and the bg!

THIS WAS SO MUCH FUN! One of my favorite pictures of the year, hands down. I had a blast with this and AHHHH ALOU MADE IT COME OUT SO FLIPPING BEAUTIFULLY!!! QUQ I can look at any and all of her artworks, collab or not, and be mesmerized by her work ;u;

Definitely worth the time and patience with this one ^v^

She heard the loud and proud music beating in the air and she couldn't help but sway her body to it. Today was gonna be an amazing night! She just knew it! And it only grew more so now that she and Sully brought their new friend, Riley, along to party. "Thanks for inviting me, Chris." Riley said with a smile, adjusting his shirt and rolling it up his sleeves at the elbow, revealing more of his dragon tattoo. She couldn't help but admire how well he looked in semi-formal attire. Blushing, she grinned and shrugged. "It was nothing! Sully and I really enjoy hanging out with you and we thought tonight would be a good night to celebrate the New Year!" She said optimistically. She heard a few noises, and turned to see some of the oddity Pokemon coming out to dance and play. She laughed happily. "See!? Even the Torchic are coming out without too much fear." Sully walked along behind them, taking a sip of his drink and smiled a little at how happy and excited Chris looked. Zephrine giggled in her water orb beside his head, admiring the music by bobbing up and down to the tune already. That and Chris looked honestly beautiful that night as well. She opted to go with a blue gown that was definitely shorter than he knew her father would like; but he wasn't here, and Sully didn't find anything wrong with it. Upon pausing in their walking, he looked around. They ended up near a large fire that gave great warmth for the cool weather. Pulling out some PokeBalls from his pocket, he threw them out, allowing several of his 'mon to come out. They ruffled themselves out and looked at him, before seeing Chris starting to dance along with the two Torchic that circled around her legs. Glancing at him for permission, Sully gave a nod and smiled. "Have some fun you guys." Roxanne and Sean were not going to argue with him. They rushed over and began to bounce and wiggle to the music, causing Chris to laugh and shake it more, swiveling her hips and dance with them in circles. "C'mon and dance, Sully and Riley!" She said joyfully, her face bright from both the fire and the thrill of dancing inside of her chest. "I'll stand back for now, Chris." Sully said, and couldn't help but smile in understanding when Warmund shuffled closer to his Master, glaring uncomfortably to the Oddity Torchic that broke from the dancing, and settled itself closer to him. He opted to watch over the Bug Delta, not wanting him to start a fight from being too intimidated. Even when he petted his head, the Venonat just gave a huff and looked away from the crowd, clearly not wanting to join in on the partying. He saw Xahira pull herself over and began to happily clap and cheer on Chris, and even more so when Riley gave a shrug and grin. "Why the hell not? It's New Years!" He said. He reached behind him and pulled out some PokeBalls as well, and let out Nineve, Beethoven, and Molly. Sully suddenly had a hard time holding in his snort of amusement as the younger man began to dance with his cousin and their 'mon. Zephrine was the first to squeal and rush over to Beethoven, before the two began to bounce and dance in the air, letting out their voices and singing with the lyrics to the song as best as they could, which proved even more entertaining for the night when they started to laugh and spin about. From how much Zephrine teased and flirted with Beethoven, Sully couldn't help but smirk. He had a feeling something would happen with those two in the future. The veteran couldn't help but notice how poor little Yvette still felt unsure, and shuffled her way over to behind Molly before Sully could get to her. He was about to call to her to come back so that he could put her in her ball, but he saw her scramble up onto Molly, taking the Numel by slight surprise. But, upon seeing who it was, she smiled and gave Yvette's face an affectionate lick, and ever so slowly and calmly swayed to the dancing. It proved a worthy choice, for the Goomy smiled awkwardly and settled down on the Numel's hump. She looked at peace and giggled when Chris and the other 'mon mingled about with Riley and his own 'mon. Even when the music ended and another song came in, Chris just went over to Riley and grabbed his hands, and both of them were nothing but a pair of goofballs, dancing and twirling to the fun night. Eventually, even Sully himself jumped in and had a dance with her, but it was a far more calming song and he always knew she enjoyed waltzing and swaying with him. He was happy that he came to the island with her. Things were looking up for them, especially him. He didn't feel like he had to worry as much about his own personal demons. His personal nightmares that haunted him in the cities and closer to his family. To him... Shaking his head, he pushed that thought away and smiled down to his cousin, who had placed her head on his strong chest and closed her eyes, smiling dreamily. "I envy how you can waltz that well." Riley eventually stated, causing both Sully and Chris to laugh. "Hehe well he HAS had years of practice on me." She teased. "Who knows~ Perhaps I could waltz with you, Ri, when the next song comes up." She burst into giggles when his face became a dusty pink, before being yanked into another song. All in all, it was an adventurous and bountiful night of dancing and celebration that Sully himself had a feeling wouldn't be ending anytime soon. He smiled more. It was a Happy New Year indeed.

During the winter time, Sequoia gets cold very easily. Most worry about her because of her weaker immune system and her lack of warmth. But, despite what many wish to think, she doesn't absolutely despise winter. Yes, it is bad for her body, but she has gotten through many years of it in the past. She's used to it. Others seem to not be. Especially new additions to her life. One thing she really enjoys of winter is the early morning snowfalls that occur here and there. While yes, she sleep far more than she works in winter, she doesn't mind getting up early, walking out to the forest, and have a long moment of peace and quiet. But, she had an additional companion one lonely morning. Liam knew how cool she could get, and served as her heating source when they slept. But seeing her contently resting against a tree without her significant others about, it made him realize how...alone she was sometimes. He was a loyal pet, though, so he silently climbed up onto her shoulders, and leant his body to her once more. In return, she would just smile, and tell him she loved him and was thankful for his kind actions. Really happy on how this came out. Kinda screwed with the bg though lol XD I just enjoyed having a sweet Sequoia moment. ;u;
