Daily Sketch. Since this one is a little late by a couple hourse I did a second one.

I do not own Mewsim.

I do however have a new appreciation for western style animation drawings or at least those who draw them. I was more into anime as a kid and i kept having to remind myself to do things just so because it’s not something I’m used to. Cartoon eyeball shadows for instance. I mean I knew about it but I’m just not used to it. Was kinda fun actually. While I realize Mewsim is supposed to be kinda like tamagachi, it’s got influences you see in both american style cartoons and the eastern stuff. Hello Kitty basically capitalizes on the fact the styles combined were well received so it doesn’t surprise me mewsim is popular or was then either. It’s cute. I like it. I’m an adult. If you judge me for that we don’t need to be in the same room.

Todays Daily Sketch. Because I honestly need practice drawing dogs.

I’m well aware my style in water colors might seem odd. Oh well.

Everyone else- oh lets do delicate barely there colors and images. Oh so pretty!

Me- Fuck that shit give me depth! Give me color! Give me creative freedom to do whatever I want without judgement.

Everyone else- chill chicka, just add more water to…

Me- No. Give me depth or give me death.

Everyone else- … *moves slowly towards straight jacket*

Me- *Grabs paint brush*

Everyone else- Now just put the paintbrush down. Nobody has to get hurt. Just put it down.

Me- *Brandishes paintbrush at paper and paints*

Everyone else- omg the world is fucking ending ahhhhhh!!!!

Me-*Cackles like a madwoman*

I couldn’t resist. Lol

Popped into my head and made me chuckle. Sort of random skit. In all seriousness however, I don’t use water colors as often because I was made to feel self conscious about my prefered way of using them when I was much younger. Instead of helping me excel and find ways to better myself with it they ridiculed it and it was never “right” because it was too colorful, too “dark” not watery enough. They never asked what I was trying to do, because that does matter, and when i told them i was brushed off and still told to do it any other way but that. It was bold and colorful and i was never afraid to use the darker colors other people avoided using all too often with water colors but that apparently made me “wrong”. It doesnt. Art is art. Adults should be careful how they treat young budding artists. If your going to "help" them first make sure you know what they are doing and don't disregard it or fall into "you can't do that". To this day I like the way I paint with watercolors but never really expect anyone else to.

Apparently it has been flagged and censored but I finally found a platform that has prettye much everything I need. You can even paywall some posts so my dilemma about watermarks..? Solved!

Just don't expect to censor people because there ideas dont fit your jive. *looking at you tumblr/facebook/google etc* It is not run by the mega corps that have taken over most of the internet. It is a haven of free speech. If you don't like someones ideas don't harass them just block them on minds though as harassing them and trying to de platform them is only going to de platform yourself(which is really how it should be).
