To all my new followers...
WELCOME! Seriously, this is the most ridiculous thing to happen to me on here yet. Never before have I gotten so many new people over one post. It's absolutely astounding, astonishing, what-have-you!
Now...to give you a bit of background as to why the David Bowie post (my portion of it anyways) happened. When I saw it, my first thoughts were of David Bowie, the musician (specifically Ziggy Stardust days), because I was aware of his existence before watching Labyrinth. But, the first thing that came out of my mouth after reading the op's post was "DAVID BOWIE IS THE GOBLIN KING". This is because I have basically been conditioned by my friends servantofsadako and lunasri to hear that expression in my head whenever I think of David Bowie.
At the time I first read it, the post didn't have that many notes (relative to other posts that get massive amounts of notes), I think it had somewhere between 1k and 2k. And really all I was thinking was, 'this'll make X (that's servantofsadako) laugh'. Which I did succeed at pretty much right away when she reblogged it with her comment and gif. It was all very amusing.
Fast forward a couple hours...and I start getting this influx of people following me and I think, 'what is going on?'. Find out that the David Bowie post has basically blown up and me and X are kinda responsible. So...in conclusion...I'm sorry OP about the 10K notes you have now. I never would have expected this to happen. Also, I'm only a Demyx Time person by proxy because of my association and the amount of time spent with my former roommates (listed above). I still love David Bowie (and if you haven't watched The Prestige go watch it now! David Bowie plays Nikola Tesla, but that's really just a small part of why the movie is awesome), but the reference I was making was purely just to make X laugh.
So there's that off my chest. Now for a little bit about what you're going to see from me. Well...as my url might suggest, I am a SUPERWHOLOCKIAN! It finally happened a month or so ago that I transitioned from being just an "admirer" of the Batch to being completely in love with him. It's quite ridiculous, I know, but there you go. So expect to see a smidgen of Khanberbatch, because I am firmly a part of the Cumber Collective (resistance is futile, you will be assimilated) . You'll also see A LOT of Les Miserables related things. I reblog and tag #les miserables jokes for literally every semi funny (I personally find them all to be gold) les mis joke/reference. There might also be a touch of e/R.
Know this now, there will be feels, because sometimes the only way to deal with feels is by inflicting feels on others. Kind of like a game of hot potato, but with emotional baggage. I tag anything that might be NSFW (doesn't happen that often really), but I do a poor job of tagging my ships. So if Destiel or Johnlock bother you, I apologize in advance and promise to try harder at remembering to tag it.
