Of course she still didn’t completely trust him. It would take a lot more time and effort on his part for that to happen, and mostly her concern was for her friend’s safety rather than her own. However, she also couldn’t deny that he had been key in defeating all of those heartless earlier. It would have been significantly more difficult alone.

“Good job back there...” She started hesitantly, as they walked down the beaten path. Unsure of what to say, she kept her gaze forward, not meeting his eyes. “Really... I appreciated the help.”

The Darkling stared at the blonde male confused but at the same time curious. They had a scent like darkness but their light was also strong. It was a weird mixture and he had personally never seen it before, another confusing fact was that this being shared the same features as he damned light half. This wasn’t Ven though, the darkness made that clear. “Who are you?” Came low murmur as amber orbs remained trained to the others figure.

There’s a prickling at the back of the Nobody’s neck, though it’s only momentary. The Nobody had a confused head tilt, trying to place what about the other male had caused that prickle. All he can really tell is that this person isn’t another Nobody, nor does he get that same feeling that he would a Somebody. Plus...this guy sounds...sort of like his Other? Okay now he’s really lost. “Obviously not who you’re looking for.” Is the answering quip chased by a raise of a tawny eyebrow.

Low hiss parted lips as the Darkling inches away from the silver male. “You smell like him.” He spat the words like they where foul in his mouth.

“I... smell like him?” Riku repeated. He had a guess as to what the unfamiliar boy was talking about, but he dearly hoped he was wrong. “You aren’t talking about An-- Xehanort’s Heartless, are you?”
