The Moomins Episode 10

This episode is The Invisible Child. So we get more of Minnie! Maybe she will hang out with Snufkin some in this episode? Snufkin wasn't in the last episode at all, and I missed him. 

I am also pretty excited to see Minnie's face. 

Here we are at Moomin House. The birds are chirping. The children are laughing and running. Moomin is asking for Minnie. Minnie wants to come play with the others. Her face is still not visible and she still has the bell. 

Hmm. It seems her head can't become visible no matter what they try. People on the street are talking about her, wondering what she truly looks like. 

Now they are going to play hide and seek in the woods. OH NO Stinky is there! NO STINKY GO AWAY 

Minnie honestly reminds me of Hotaru from Sailor Moon. 

SO SAD Minnie has never played any games before. 

Ah snorkmaiden is in some flowers. Sniff is in a pile of leaves. Little My is in a hollow log. OH NO stinky found Minnie. Minnie is hiding in a bush now. 

Sniff has been found! Little My is being tricky and kind of adorable trying to avoid Moomin but she has also been found! now Snorkmaiden has been found and Sniff is the seeker. 

OH NO. Stinky has kidnapped her! He wants to use her to help him rob a bank. 

THIS IS SO SAD. Minnie is begging to be freed. 

"Lots of people manage very well without using their heads. So I'm sure Minnie will be all right." Oh Moomin Papa. 

Now the young ones are trying to find Minnie. They are looking and looking everywhere for her. Now they are all looking and calling for her. Poor Minnie. She is crying :(

MY SOUL HAS BEEN CRUSHED

Yay! She shouted! that's great. Moomin and Snorkmaiden found her. Now her voice is stronger. SHE IS FREEEEEE

SO BEAUTIFUL ~~~~~~ damn this show. 

Now they are suggesting Minnie yell and get angry because it may help her get her face back. haha now Moomin is chasing Stinky

SNUFKIN HIIIII WELCOME BACK I MISSED YOU

Snufkin is helping catch Stinky. They put him in the same cave he trapped Minnie in. They are going to lock him in there for a whole day. Wow. that is surprisingly vengeful. 

Now the family is having a picnic on the shore. Minnie is staring at the sea and crying. :( SO SAD 

Moomin Mama is going to comfort her. "The Sea is far too big," Minnie says. I suppose she has never seen the sea before and she is just amazed at how big it is. I can relate. The first time I saw the ocean I also wanted to cry. 

Ah Moomin Mama is bored. "There hasn't been anything to surprise or excite me in weeks." You are failing in your duty, Moomin Papa. 

Now Moomin Papa is going to push Moomin Mama into the water??? I don't understand but okaaay. 

AH MINNIE's FAAAAACE. She is cute cute cute. She asserted herself and now she is visible!

YES I SHIP HER WITH SNUFKIN STILL 100% OTP (not really but whatever)

THIS EPISODE IS SO SO SO SO CUTE THIS SHOW

Ah now she is leaving with Two Ticky again. And they aren't going to make her go back to live with her aunt again. Which is wonderful! She got away from the abuse and she doesn't have to go back.

Moomins Episode 9

We begin on a rainy day.

Now we see TWO TICKY. He has a striped shirt. He has someone with him named Minnie who is apparently invisible. Unsure where we're going with this but I'm ready. 

Two Ticky is kind of chubby in a pleasant way. He has a calm voices. "Sometimes when people are very frightened, they can become invisible to those around her." How sad

AGH POOR MINNIE. I was not ready for this. "Minnie was so upset she became invisible"

So the Moomins are going to try to be kind to Minnie so she can become visible again. 

OMG there is a little bell around her neck. This is killing me. It's SO SAD. I was not prepared for this sadness. 

The Moomins are so friendly. They are just like "sure, come on in." Moomin Mama is giving her something to drink. 

*sob* Thingame and Bob are gone?! I'll miss the little ones. 

Ah look. Minnie gets her own room. She is tired and ready for bed. Moomin Mama is tucking her in. It's so. OMG. I can't handle this. 

Okay, now Moomin Mama is looking in her Granny's Remedies book to see if there is a cure for invisibility in there. I ship Snufkin and Minne. I'm going to pretend it's canon. Don't bother me. 

Ah now Moomin Mama is making a recipe from the book that she hopes will help Minnie become visible. Today, Minnie's feet can be seen! That's good news! She is becoming visible.

Moomins Ep 6 Continued

The Groke is close! So close! Damn, shut up Sniff. You are so annoying. 

"You guys are only trying to frighten me" Nah, I think they are trying to protect you. 

They Groke is HERE. Get ready, todos. SNIFF SHUT UP. PLEASE. 

I am so ready for this Groke. Ready for this monster woman to make her appearance. 

There she is! She is kind of cute? Like Totoro cute? 

THE GROKE IS HERE. 

Haha. Moomin Papa is leading the little militia. Adorable. Sniff should be a silent character. 

So this Groke looks like a gooey, puffy, ghost covered in coal. "You're freezing my roses." Right, Moomin Mama. You know what's important. 

Groke, Moomin Papa gonna shoot ya. Ya better run. haha. Look she just turns around and starts walking in the opposite direction. Wonderful! Go, Moomins! You did it! You protected your guests and your home. 

Whoopsie. Moomin slipped on the ground. "I'll BEEEEE BAAAAAACK!" The Groke shrieks as she leaves. Interesting. Hmm. 

"What did she want in Moomin House? And will she return perhaps another night when they are all asleep?"
