Bittersweet Love is really trying to make me be disappointed in every characters except for Xiao Fan. This is so annoying to see everyone thinks he isn't having a mind of his own and he can't make the right decision. They always treat him as if he was a child who couldn't choose the right path. While everyone is always questioning him and his way of living, he remains calm and patient. Someone else would have got angry before, but not Xiao Fan.

As always, his brother is infuriatingly annoying. Every time he appears, I feel like he is a waste of oxygen. He is constantly thinking that he is better than his brother. In addition, he is always blaming Xiao Fan when his brother refuses to follow him in his crazy speeches about future richness. The worst part is that his father always thinks he is right, even though he lost his job and made a woman pregnant. As for the mother, she always counts on Xiao Fan to be the voice of reason and to save his brother.

I thought this episode would make us see a different side of Lu Xin. She almost appeared to be nice towards Xiao Fan in this episode when he took care of her while she was drunk. Unfortunately, she didn't change in one night. She still is a bit egocentric and when he reaffirm his willingness to divorce her, she got angry once again. You can't build a relationship on nothing. She spent so many years belittling him, what did she expect? Xiao Fan is nice, but it doesn't mean that he doesn't have his own desire and thoughts.

Now, what can I say about Lu Qing? He is a mystery to Xiao Fan and I get it. Sometimes, it's hard to follow his logic because he never truly talks with Xiao Fan. There is no doubt that there is something between them. Unfortunately, they are incapable of talking and communicating what they want. It leads Xiao Fan to imagine things. Yet, I feel like the last scene was him taking the lead and trying to communicate his needs and wants to Lu Qing. It was the first time, I feel like he was actively reaching to him. I wouldn't say he didn't like their previous intercourse, but this time it was different.

I wonder if this difference will play a role in the next episode when everyone in their respective family will discover their relationship. I felt like Xiao Fan not sleeping the whole night meant something. As if he made his decision and decided to take something for himself for once. He has always been a very selfless character. He gave his whole life to his family and to those he was close too... Did he ever made a single selfish decision for himself? I hope that's the case here. He deserves it. I've never wanted happiness so much for a character. No matter what is this happiness he desires, I want him to have it.
