Kya never expected to see her home or family again, but here she was, walking into her village after months of travel from the Fire Nation.

Instantly she could hear the whispers all around her, but she kept walking towards her home. Pausing outside the curtained doorway, Kya took a breathe this was it, the moment she had been dreaming about for years.

Stepping inside, she was surprised to find the only one home at the moment was a young woman she knew instantly to be her daughter, if the resemblance didn’t clue her in, then the necklace the girl wore did.
