I imagine error and ink would be serious rivals at first.
Then one day…ink is under suspicion (probably from dream) so they make a deal. Ink will make a show of “fighting off” the terrible ferocious wolf, thus proving his loyalty to the herd. Then later when he gets some food he shares with error. (Additionally, error can chase other actual wolves away.)
