@lupuslxna cont. from this :
It had taken little more than 24 hours to get back from Europe. Italy, to be more specific. The looks that were sent his way the moment the Exorcist set foot into the humble police station were of no surprise. For he knew exactly how he looked : Fresh out of battle. Busted lip, torn jacket -- bruised neck thanks to one specially sadistic Level 2. None of that mattered, though. He was a man on a mission, after all. “ Sheriff Stilinski !” There was no time to waste by simply asking around. His lips still managing to form a practiced apologetic smile, however, when the young officer manning up the main desk started to look a bit too twitchy for his liking whilst he stood hovering tall, uniform clad, above her.
“ ... How can I help you ?”
Immediately, Lavi’s attention shifted towards the older man. Keen emerald hues catching with ease the ever changing emotions flashing across the aged features : Surprise, resignation. And last but not least... worry. “ I received quite an interestin’ call from yer son a day ago ‘nd now nobody is answerin’ their phone.” He prowled towards the Sheriff, then. Murderous intent barely masked by his usual careless moves -- Like a predator itching for something to hunt. “ Sir, with all due respect... I’m this close to goin’ on a rampage. My superiors would surely tell ya that ain’t something y’ wanna witness.” A silent, knowing look was shared between the two once the distance was finally closed.
Derek’s last words had ignited a panicked feeling within him that he was very much unfamiliar with. It was slowly festering through all his hidden crevices. “ Where are the pups ?” It was royally pissing him off.
