For Kipo: “Get some sleep, okay?”

Angst Prompts!

Poor Kipo, sometimes he doesn’t get to sleep well at night ;-;

At this hour, Lurete was used to her house being completely silent while she read. And it had been, for a while. However, the quiet sounds of sobs and hiccups got her attention, enough so that she set her book down and quietly got up and followed the sound.

It led her to Kipo’s little room, where he was sitting in the middle of his shallow pool, rubbing at his face and crying. However his head shot up when she came in, his little tentacles flaring out defensively at first before curling under once realizing it was just her. He met her halfway as she entered the room, clutching on to her as she knelt down to be closer to his level.

“What’s wrong little one?” She asked softly, gently rubbing his back as he cried into her. He didn’t respond at first, his breathing hiccupy when he finally backed up enough to look up at him, eyes swollen from tears.

“You… you won’t leave?” He asked, his voice weak and scratchy, clearly not used to being used. He sounded so scared and alone, as if bracing himself for her answer.

Feeling her heart shatter at his question, she scooped him up again, standing up this time while cradling him close to her chest. “No… no I won’t leave you.” She assured softly, thinking before walking to the small pool and laying down in it, letting Kipo make himself comfortable and curling up around him, very gently rubbing his back.

“Get some sleep, okay?” She cooed softly, starting to quietly hum a lullaby she remembered from her own childhood, hoping it would offer some comfort to the poor child, who has already been through so much.

Third piece for Zora May 2024~!

This time it's my Zora babes in a Hylian AU! ...kinda XD My version of one at least, where basically the Zora aren't fish people but still have the ocean-themed culture and things like that, if that makes any sense?

Poor Baki almost didn't fit into the frame, but I refuse to draw legs, soooo :P

Working on getting used to drawing Zora again too since I miss my babes! So here's me playing around with Lurete's accessories and scars some! I've also been working on her backstory a bit more, so... be prepared for that?

I’m on a roll with BotW OCs! This is Lurete, a nurse shark Zora! She’s a nurse (or at least really good at patching people up) who wanted to be a fighter when she was younger. Once realizing that it simply wasn’t for her because she wasn’t quite fast or strong enough, she instead took to helping people in the form of tending to their wounds and ailments. She’s pretty quiet and calm, but is far from a pushover. She’s stubborn, and doesn’t take well to people trying to threaten her or her patients. She will threaten back, taking advantage of her sharp teeth. She doesn’t talk much but it’s suggested that when she does talk, you listen.

This is a very old piece I finally got a chance to finish! This is actually the piece that made me design Lurete so I’d have a third character to put in. From left to right: Nazane, Karuki, Lurete!

Thanks to the Zora OC Discord Server I got the idea to draw Burrog and Lurete as babies! Burrog’s tail was too long for him to walk without tripping over it when he was little. And Lurete is precious!
