Yep, that would likely happen, mostly because it might hit her completely unprepared. Depending on how intense it is, it might even lead to another hospital visit for Sherry. For someone who claims to love Sherry more than anyone else loves her, I really like to cause her pain. ooops.
She is okay with most buildings and she knows better than to take a dip in their history but, some places affect her – badly. Places of bloodshed, prisons – generally the kind of place urban legends get written about. Generally, the typical places white chicks go to in horror movies, she avoids.
But objects, these she cannot avoid as easily because some people carry them in their pockets and they do not notice what kind of pain they cause her.
(Well, I’d argue that Silver would be aware that his scythe-knife-thing is part of a very dark and grim story.)
(But he isn’t the only one with ‘problematic items’ in his possession.)
Depending on the strength that radiates of an object and how close Sherry is to it, it can affect her. Common ‘problems’ that follow exposure to old or even ancient object are dizziness, headaches and a sense of detachment. She cannot read them from a distance but that does not mean that she does not feel that they are there.

Can I say the Cana / Cassandra parallel? Because although it is new, it makes me so happy. I don’t even know, probably because Cassandra has always been my Greek mythology bae because her fate is so sad and unfair and makesme angry all the time I think about it. And aside from that, I really, really likethe music you put onto autoplay? Usually when I go onto a blog with autoplay, mysoul sighs for approximately the same five hours it takes me to find a way to turnit off but your blog is one of the very few where I let the music play and turnmy itunes off for as long as I am on the blog.
In other words, you did well. Very well.

I havethis feeling that you are a super hella person and that I am missing out on a lotby not talking to you more ooc and I also feel that I should change this becauseI am pretty much celebrating all your headcanons because they are so in depth –and because I am always all for everything that says ‘canon, pls no’ by making headcanonsfar more in depth and with far more logic than what Mashima throws at us.
