You’ve all been so lovely and gracious the past few days! Thank you to all of you. You people are the BEST! In light of recent events, many of you have been expressing a lack of interest in the fandom and feel that it’s not fun anymore. So I decided to try and add some fun back into the fandom and try and remind you all why you came here in the first place!
Look out for gratuitous amounts of Elriel angst and fluff and (OH YES) smut! Send me a prompt for any ship and I’ll write you a drabble or some headcanons! I probably won’t get to them all, but I can sure as hell try!
Despite being an Elucien shipper and only seeing Elriel as brotp, I won't be enraged of they become cannon . I can see why they fit and all that. But I really don't like the idea of Vassa and Lucien, yes, she may match his sass and Fire... but I don't feel like that's what he needs to heal. To me he needs someone gentler, even if not Elain. Though I'm down for their friendship– I think it'd be glorious if they became friends and STAYED THAT WAY. For a change.
Hi Nonnie, I understand this. I think if Lussa is going to happen it will be after much character development for both of them. I honestly need Lucien to get his groove back! We saw a little of this in ACOWAR. We saw the beginning stages of him FINALLY being in an environment that listened to him, encouraged him, valued him—AND I NEED MORE!
He has been living in exile in the Spring Court and I felt that when he got back from his mini-quest, he was a whole new Lucien! I need more of that! I need him to make decisions on his own. And if he decides to love Elain regardless of the mating bond, I can be happy for them and ship it. I just need him to take some time and make decisions for Lucien. I need him to have choice. And that was one of the things he said about Jesminda that honestly broke my heart.
He said, “She’d seen him not as a High Lord’s seventh son, but as a male. Had loved him without question, without hesitation. She had chosen him. Elain had been … thrown at him.”
UGH. I just need him to find his value and worth before anything at all. And then I need him to realize his paternity (if he doesn’t already know. A part of me thinks he might!) and that he is good enough to be a High Lord. And then all that other stuff can fall in line.
