Manorian and Jurdan

I was thinking about TOG, and that led to Manorian, which led to me thinking about my favorite fantasy FMCS. And I realized (because I obviously love and adore Jude) that Manorian is the only ship that has ever given off the same energy as Jurdan. Traumatized, sarcastic, brilliant prince who hides his powers beneath flirtation and charm meets traumatized, brutally ambitious fmc with family issues? Spectacular, give me 14 of 'em. Annoyance ensues. Sparks fly. They make out as a form of aggression. Both are so emotionally constipated that they can't admit they're falling for each other. Gosh I miss my toxic babies 🐍🍷🐉🗡️🔮

I love manorian as much as the next guy but manon/elide would’ve been incredible

Kinda sorta want to write a long story about Manon’s healing journey (modern au) from start to finish (if I’ll ever get to that point) detailing everything she went through, Dorian’s role and the things that happened to help her heal. Mind you none of the things they did are conventional because of the lifestyle that they’ve chosen (that works like magic because this is the exact same thing Manon needed to feel safe emotionally and to finally let go and allow Dorian to handle things and help her with her issues. others would definitely not understand, but they don’t care about anyone else what happens behind closed doors is their business only and they’re both consenting adults so nothing else matters)

But honestly they’re not quite alone in this. Dorian knows someone who knows those other people and it’s like- there is a whole community out there so they’re not alone in what they do. It was perfect because at times Dorian could really use an entire safe environment because it’s needed at times. And Manon needs to socialize with others she can’t always be alone and having her around people with a similar lifestyle can be really helpful

my beef with g*ynriels being made more personal because they're pulling the same shit as doraelin people do when they talk about manorian being only sex and not real love or whatever other bullshit they like to say. that's how you actually piss the the fuck off
