Lute from Hazbin Hotel / Cosplayer: @alyssabelleross

So I repurposed some of the items from the original design, and commissioned some very talented people for the more intricate parts like the chain mail and wings.

I am cosplaying Lute from Hazbin Hotel! I decided on the character because when I watched the show I was drawn to her character design, her color scheme closely matches my personal out-of-cosplay style, and I always prefer to do the more villainous characters. I also love her personality in the show and love to play with that emotion when posing for photos or videos.

Growing up my biggest dream was to be a Disney princess and when Frozen came out I made my first cosplay, an Elsa ice dress. I then discovered that there was an entire community of people who loved to dress up as their favorite characters. I’m still new to the convention side of cosplaying, my first one was Megacon Orlando 2022. And only started going to them more frequently this year. 

Cosplaying and conventions have had a pretty big impact on my life just from the people I have been able to meet and get close with. I’ve met some of my closest friends just by cosplaying from the same show at a con and striking up a conversation about it.

I highly doubt this will reach anyone, but amino is down for an unknown amount of time and i’m trying to find somewhere that will get me some sort of traction to roleplay requests. So here it goes.
