he’s a member of the queensguard ie an Fantasy Policemna andddd mostly happy w it! he’s got a big thing for Actual Justice so as long as he can actually do the right thing he’s happy. when he first joined the queensguard they were like. mostly ceremonial, hence the really daft looking uniform, but percy’s a stubborn fuck and the then-commander of the queensguard was ALSO a stubborn fuck and now the queensguard essentially took over the city watch??
he tried joining the actual city watch before the queensguard but they were less interested in Solving Crimes so much as looking tough and protecting the nobles, which percy wasn’t about

MOSTLY percy just wants his lil sister to be safe and happy, which he hs so far managed to Make Happen by running away and raising her himself. he’s a very good brother and he’d die to make sure she was safe. he’d also quite like to like, be loved but percy’s the kind of useless bastard who blushes bright red even thinking about the word byfriend so
