Still can't believe that I have these two in 3D 🥹 they were some of my very first OCs and went through a lot of changes, and now they are dolls I can hold on my hands! Teenage me would've been so happy to find out!

Arrival 1/26/21: SD Joelle.D + Juno Body!

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!! 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

They came perfectly fine, arrived early in the morning. The box was huuuge, and the doll boxes themselves are very tall! I managed to fit them under our bed AND stuff them full of more doll boxes, so that’s always nice. ANYWAY!

We ordered Joelle.D on the new body (which I will be stealing for a future doll at some point.) and Joelle’s head will go to the LUTS MDF muscle body that has been patiently waiting for him since May 2020. I’ll get photos of that up eventually to showcase that hybrid and color match. The Juno body belongs to my DiM Laia head- the fit is lovely and the color match is a solid 95-98% (you can see the paleness) but will be gone once blushed.

DIM Laia is Naelia, my bombastic elf mage, and Joelle is Yellow Jacket, my partner’s sexy buff sentai guy. I can finally tag them!!!!!!!!!!!!! WEEPS

The bodies are just.... lovely. Both came strung perfectly (i want to say lean toward loose, but not really?) they’re so easy to pose and they just look... so stylish. +//___//+;; I mean to play with the boy body more soon, but I haven’t been able to put down Naelia since loool. I had virtually nothing prepared for either of them so they may be in a state of disarray for a good while, but wow I am oooover the moon. I’ll try to post more pics...

So, Yui's colour mismatch was actually bothering me enough to do something about it.

Something being: i checked on the body I matched her against last year and... it is quite a bit more yellow than the new one

Idk if it's just a normal mismatch between batches or if the old one is actually this yellowed already (i keep them out on display, but in my dark room), but either way, I checked Yui against the new one and the match is much better

It is more obvious irl, but I think you can still see what I mean.

For Pim on the other hand, I can't really see a difference that's too out of place, so the decision was relatively easy.

I'll mod her neck a bit (sand it down just a bit), and then probably will try to intentionally yellow the hands I got with the new body as they're obviously too pink now as well...
