Roy and Délia have a mutual crush (not confessed yet) so all is fine. Roy even fell in love when they first met lmao, when she helped him get up after he fell. A day later Délia also crushed when he helped her in a similar way. Things are going smooth for the babies :D They're making bubbles together!

But Luu Kah and Ramsey? The latter crushed on Luu Kah during a random discussion, but I can't get Luu Kah to fall in love lmao. Ramsey crushed hard and wanted to confess a few hours later but he got rejected!! (I was worried that telling him not to do it would cancel his crush.) And now Luu Kah doesn't even feel friendship toward him now lmao.

This isn't how it happens in canon. You were supposed to crush first, Luu Kah. I hate you.

You can keep dreaming, Ramsey. We'll get there.

In the meantime, Luu Kah's BFF is Délia lmao

I cooked a lot thanks to a 3 days long week-end and being motivated. <3 Among the courses, we have some comfort doodles of Luu Kah and Ramsey living their best lives, and it felt so good to draw that omg.

That's post-game (ofc); I imagine that what happened on the left pic is that they were walking up a sand dune, Luu Kah was a bit ahead, turned back toward Ramsey, slipped stupidly, tackled him and this is how it ended.

The inspiration/reference for the pic where they're trying to decipher a book comes from this Mikleo & Sorey fanart by @birdmanbirdplan! (Also had a blank pose ref for the near kiss but idk the source oops).

The feather above is a nod to Choco, a black chocobo they meet and travel with for a bit during their journey. <3

Chapter 12 of Year 4; How to officially announce Roy and Luu Kah's romantic feelings (toward Délia and Ramsey respectively) in one little scene.

Note that it was true only for Roy in the first version since I wasn't yet decided on Luu Kah and Ramsey, but now I thought it'd be nice to go with both at this moment. 8)

Roy may not show it much but he's already aware of how he feels, since the end of Year 3 or during Year 4. For Luu Kah it's the first time here that the thought crosses his mind (look how your teasing backfires at you, Luu Kah).

Putting the text as actual text below the cut in case it's necessary:

[The screen reopens on Tipa’s main square and the crystal at night. Many villagers are dancing around, in rhythm with the tune played by the musicians. Ramsey and Délia are dancing together near the crystal, while Roy, Linitaa and Luu Kah are eating at a table with Sally dozing off near them. Roy watches Délia and Ramsey with a warm smile. Luu Kah stares at them too before observing Roy.]

Luu Kah: Say, you really like Délia, huh?

[Roy flinches and lowers his gaze on the food inside his plate.]

Roy: Well… Yes, she’s my friend.

[Luu Kah leans over the table to hold his chin and grins at Roy insistently. The latter glances around with embarrassment, as if looking for something. He grabs a piece of cloth from the table and shoves it in Luu Kah’s face.]

Luu Kah: Hey!!

[On their side, Linitaa watches them with a raised brow. Luu Kah pulls the cloth away from his face and from Roy’s hand.]

Luu Kah: Since when do you bully people?!

[Roy looks away sheepishly.]

Linitaa: That’s only because you’re being annoying. Luu Kah: Riiight. Please, Roy, don’t become like Lylia!

[Roy chuckles.]

Roy: As long as… you don’t bully me.

[Luu Kah looks surprised before showing a sarcastic smile.]

Luu Kah: Very well…

[Luu Kah sits straight again, clears his throat and sends a new look toward Délia and Ramsey. His gaze lingers on the latter for a moment. Luu Kah looks down with a frown and nibbles a few corn seeds absentmindedly before standing up abruptly; Linitaa and Roy lose their balance because of Luu Kah moving the bench they’re all sitting on. To the side, Sally opens an eye, looking pissed.]

I will make February a special Luuram month because I can. Gonna doodle tons of story scenes of them.
