          stepping  out  on  his  front  porch  about  to  light  up  a  cigarette  when  he  spots   ‘   the  girl  next  door   ‘   as  many  would  say  in  movies  or  series,  he  still  lights  it  and  walks  towards  that  side  of  his  porch;  leaning  onto  the  railings  as  he  inhaled  before  exhaling  and  speaking  aloud  for  her  to  hear.   “  hey  you  ~  i  have  a  small  favor  to  ask  “   he  stated  with  a  cheeky  smile  on  his  lips.   “  could  you  maybe  be  careful  with  dancing  around  in  your  room  ...  half-naked  and  such.  “   not  that  he  minded  but,  her  big  brother  was  his  best  friend  so,  he  figured  he’d  leave  out  that  part.

fifteen - twenty minute wait for his driver to arrive. he’s going home, finally. since somebody just had to ditch him in favour of a good time elsewhere. a very deliberate occupation with his phone, additional distraction to the final drink he’d ordered and is currently nursing.

     one of his strengths had always been his reflexes. it served him well in pilot school, and it continues to serve him well in every day life. and uriah doesn’t like to admit it out loud, but he suspects that hagar has only made him quicker. smoother. so he does thank hagar internally when he swiftly catches a starbucks drink that had slipped from hands that were half occupied by other bags on the street. with a “whoops” he catches the cold drink before it can crash onto the pavement. 

     “here you go, do you need--” oh. this person... is very pretty. very, very pretty. the former pilot is struck speechless for a bit before swallowing and reminding himself to not be a creep. “uh, do you need help? your hands look full...” @luvholicreplies​​ @luvholicrps​

    “i made this fer ya,” joaquim mumbles as he holds out his palm. in the center are a dozen pearls strung into a bracelet. it took some time-- diving in the pitch blackness so he could see better. prying open clam shells. centering himself when he lost his temper and caused the highest tide the coast had seen in years. not to mention stringing the tiny damn things with hands as large as his. the beast hoped, at the very least, that the pearls looked just as good in the daylight as they did in the dark. “if ya don’t like it then ya don’t hafta wear it. just thought it would be something that’d look good on ya.”

          seated across from the woman as a heavy conversation had stormed in on their topic for the night, something that the male wasn't too keen on. sure, scribbling down meaningful words was easy but, having to say them and talk about them was a whole different thing for jonghyun; something that surii has now come to experience.

          " surii, i said it while we were in the heat of a moment, intoxicated by alcohol i — " jonghyun started until the woman revealed that she actually meant the words, which left him dumbfounded. " but why ? i might be the worst influence on your future life. " which wasn't a lie, considering jonghyun was a workaholic and devoted most his life to get his songs out there. surely he cared for the woman, a lot in fact but, he still felt like she could do so much better without him as a partner.
