I’ve been watching these guys on TV ever since middle school. For those who don’t recognize that’s La Bamba, Mark Pender, Mike Merrit, and James Wormworth, 4/7 of the Conan O’Brien house band. I don’t use the word “honor” too often but holy hell it was a fucking honor performing alongside these amazing musicians. Even if only for 2 songs on bongos. These guys were a major influence on me. Not to mention they were part of some of the most memorable skits on the show. My dream gig is drumming for a late nite show.
