Summary: Sonny and Emily watch the snowflakes together
Warnings: Fluff?
Emily smiled to herself. Sonny was the person in her life that made her the happiest.
She slowly tiptoed over to him, hoping to sneak up and give him a little kiss on the cheek. Sonny had a sense that she was approaching. He turned around with a loving grin, gently grabbed her by the waist, and pulled her in for a soft kiss.
"What are you looking at?" Emily asked him in her obviously exhausted voice. Sonny gazed back out the window once again. "I'm looking at the snowflakes. They are so beautiful, each one unique in it's own special way. It's amazing!" Sonny chuckled.
Sonny had the joy equal to a little boy winning a stuffed teddy bear at a carnival. Emily loved that about him. Snowflakes aren't the most interesting thing in the world or the most important, but Sonny took so much joy in the simple things in life like that.
Emily cuddled up into a little ball next to him while Sonny snuggled her close to his chest. Sonny couldn't have been happier. He looked down at his lover and realized to himself that she was the most important thing in his life. More important than the music, the haters, and the problems he faced in life. As long as he had his little Emily, nothing else mattered.
Emily couldn't resist being interested in the snowflakes herself. It was astonishing that each and every single one was special and different.
One little snowflake slowly drifted down from the sky and made it's way onto the couple's outer windowsill. They both saw it and smiled. It was their snowflake. Sonny turned Emily's head toward his. They gazed into each other's eyes for a short while. Sonny's eyes were twinkling from the light glowing off the snow. He moved Emily's blonde hair out of her face and whispered the words "You are my little snowflake. I could have any other snowflake in the world, but I was lucky enough to end up with you." Emily couldn't find any words to say to express the happiness and joy she felt in that moment. All she could do was kiss him. The kiss was long and sensual.
She rested her head on her lover's chest. They sat there for some time, occasionally mentioning a snowflake that one of them thought was interesting or pretty.
"Oh wow! Look at that one!" Sonny gasped. Emily didn't respond. She had fallen asleep a while ago but Sonny hadn't noticed. He only noticed her gentle breathing against him. He smiled, admiring her beauty. He picked her up bridal style, handling her body with gentleness and care, hoping not to wake her. He slowly set her down in the bed that they shared. "Goodnight, my little snowflake." Sonny kissed her softly on the forehead and laid down next to her while she slept.
