You've waited long enough and it's finally here! Bum Phillips All-American Opera opens next week at La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club.
On March 20th, we invite you to get into the ‘Luv Ya Blue’ spirit and join us for a special benefit performance of Bum Phillips All-American Opera. Your $50 ticket will provide you a seat to the production as well as access to an exclusive, pre-show reception at La MaMa featuring special guests: Phillips' son and NFL coach Wade Phillips, former Houston Oilers Dan Pastorini and Lawrence Harris, and other special guests TBA, plus a post-show Q&A with the cast and creative team. The evening will be sponsored by Hill Country featuring Shiner Bock beer.
Bum Phillips All-American Opera is approximately three years in the making and it has been two years since we met Bum Phillips. Please don't miss this long awaited, ambitious event written by Peter Stopschinski and Kirk Lynn, and commissioned by Monk Parrots. Benefit proceeds will support production expenses for the opera.
